What are your opening times?

 

We are open Monday ~ Friday 8.00am ~ 5.00pm and Saturday mornings 9.00am ~ 12.00 noon.

 

How much does 1 bulk bag of gravel cover?

 

Approximately 16 sq metres at a depth of 52mm

 

Does the price include delivery?

 

The price does not include delivery the average price is £6.00 in the Rossendale area £10 in Blackburn /Burnley area Manchester and Bury please Call first see delivery map

 

Do we have to be in when it is delivered?

 

Not usually, we accept most credit / bank cards over the phone, you just have to let us know where to put the bag.

 

How long is the delivery time?

 

We can usually deliver next day.

 

Do you deliver on a Saturday?

 

Yes, but only until 12 noon.

 

Can we see the gravel before we buy it?

 

Yes, our premises are fully landscaped with a variety of different gravels and they are illustrated on our decorative gravels page.

 

Are the bags returnable?

 

No, due to Health and Safety they are a single trip bag, although you may use them in your garden for other purposes.

 

What is the best product to bring my garden / driveway up to level?

 

We would recommend Crush and Run MOT1 compacted, then it will give you a solid surface ready for your gravel or flags.

 

What size gravel do you recommend for driveways?

 

We usually recommend a 14mm or 20mm gravel for a driveway, as it does not stick in the treads of car tyres.

 

What is the minimum width required for access?

 

All our vehicles require a minimum width of 3m.

 

How far does the crane off load reach?

 

The hiabs have a reach of 4.5m over the side of the wagon
